Are you building an email or SMS list, but you’re not sure what type of popup you should use? A lucky wheel? A conversational popup? Maybe a simple discount popup?
With our Experiments feature, you can test any campaign type against any other.
By testing which strategy works best for your target audience, you’ll be able to make decisions based on real data, not gut instincts. And that means you’ll be able to maximize conversion rates quickly.
Step 1: Create your campaigns
Create two separate campaigns that both capture subscribers but with different methods.
In this case, we’re testing a conversational popup campaign vs. a simple sign-up form against each other.
This is what the conversational popup campaign looks like:
And this is what the simple sign-up form looks like:
Step 2: Set up different triggering for your campaigns
Set up different triggering options for your campaigns. The conversational campaign should appear after 15 seconds, as this is a welcome message, while the sign-up form should be displayed on exit-intent.

Step 3: Start a new experiment
Now it’s time to test these campaigns against each other to find out which one performs better using the Experiments feature.

Step 4: Measure performance and make data-based decisions
Once you’ve got enough data, analyze the results of the experiment and decide which campaign performed better. At this point, the experiment can be stopped and you should only run the campaign that was more effective.
